Dear GGDNYC Attendees, We would like to thank everyone that came out on Thursday to our 2nd GGDNYC dinner event. We were so happy to see a lot of familiar faces. What is a Girl Geek Dinner? Girl Geek : Someone who is female and has an interest in technology, particularly computing and new media. Not necessarily technically minded. The Girl Geek Dinners are organized all over the world. They are great fun and provide a welcoming atmosphere for women to talk about technology in an informal environment. There is generally a speaker who talks for a short while on a chosen subject for the event. Our goal is to make the events free to attend thanks to sponsorship. Call for Speakers
GGDNYC is looking for proposals from professionals in technology and science who would like to speak at upcoming GGDNYC events. Talks should be 10-15 minutes in length. Please send proposals to speak@ggdnyc.com.
